COMMUNITY

The ACTS communities are the first and primary place where we love people to life. Each community serves a different group and is a unique expression of ACTS. Like wandering branches, they may grow in unpredictable directions, but they are still connected to the tree that is UnbridledACTS.

The Eagle’s Nest

A hearth, a home, and a resting place. The Nest is more than a retreat home; it’s a safe place where people experience what it’s like to know and be known—to discover who they are meant to be and move in the direction of their dreams.

Mizizi

Mizizi is Swahili for rooted. Based in rural Uganda, Mizizi helps women in extreme poverty discover the practical, emotional, and spiritual tools necessary to thrive in every area of their lives.

Love Hard

After unexpectedly losing their two-year-old son, Cash, Jen and John Kamins partnered with UnbridledACTS to form LOVE HARD and honor the memory of their beloved son. LOVE HARD supports grieving families through financial aid, counseling, and family retreats.

Transforma

Based in San Jose, Costa Rica, Transforma works with women considered poor, extremely poor, and ultra-poor to find sustainable solutions to their daily problems. Transforma works with the poor, not just for the poor as an advocate, an educator, a mother, and a friend.

Fremont County

Our heart for Fremont County, Colorado, is to see every resident and passerby loved to life and into freedom. By linking arms with local organizations and initiatives, we seek to meet the greatest needs in Cañon City and the surrounding areas; focused primarily on housing and mental healthcare.

Intermission

Created by the founders of Mannequin the Band, Intermission supports the arts community in Colorado by taking time to pour into local musicians and artists through grants, scholarships, and emergency aid. Like a breath mark in music, Intermission practices the importance of taking a pause amidst the hustle of the industry to care for the sustainability of their community.
