The Bridge Youth Center Matching Fund

UnbridledACTS is hosting a Matching Fund to support The Bridge Youth Center’s summer programming in Canon City. We will match $1 for $1 up to $5,000 for a total goal of $10,000. The match has been met! All funds donated above and beyond the match, through April 15 at 11:59pm, will be given to The Bridge, but will not be matched:

The Bridge Youth Center exists to provide a safe space for the youth of Fremont County. It is the heart of The Bridge to bring deep growth, warm community, true love, and lasting hope to teens and youth experiencing loneliness, coldness, confusion, and lack. Their aim is holistic in nature, to impact youth on three levels: physical, emotional, and spiritual. Physically, by creating a safe space for youth to feel welcomed. Emotionally, by offering loving friendship and mentorship to every young person that walks through their door. And spiritually, by encouraging students towards a life-saving relationship with Jesus.

Though operational throughout the year, The Bridge’s summer programming requires significant resources. For nine weeks, the Bridge is open Monday through Friday, providing youth with opportunities to engage in safe outings and friendships while out of school. From soft-skill learning to Friday outings, a weeklong camping trip, and student-led community service projects, The Bridge is one of the safest places for kids to be throughout the summer.

The Bridge is currently gearing up to plan nine weeks of summer programming and hire two summer interns. To support, we have set up this dollar-for-dollar match (up to $5,000) where 100% of donations will go to The Bridge Youth Center. The hope is to see Canon City youth enjoy their summer in a safe environment with trusted adults and volunteers.
