Pink Skies Abbey Support

Zach Swiger and his wife have spent the last 20 years investing in young men and women who feel drawn to serves those on the margins. Throughout the years, they have witnessed the need for a space where emerging leaders can be shaped, mentored, and spiritually strengthened, as well as current leaders’ need to find rest, renewal and community. From this burden and hope, the Swigers are launching The Pink Skies Abbey, a barndominium designed as a training ground and refuge, on their 10-acre property in the country 

The Name: Pink Skies Abbey reflects what this space longs to cultivate. A place where grace colors the horizon, where the next generation is empowered in their calling, and where weary servants of justice can find rest under “pink skies”—a reminder of God’s beauty, faithfulness, and promise.  

The Mission: To equip the next generation of social justice leaders with mentoring, spiritual formation, and practical training, and to support the present generation of justice workers with retreats, rest, and space for renewal.  

To make this dream a reality, the Swigers are contributing $65,000 toward the construction of the barndominium and are hoping to raise an additional $65,000 to complete the project. They hope to raise these matching funds by July 1, 2026.
