I love this picture.
It reminds me that if I hang on just a little longer…it’ll all be worth it. That’s what we tell each other here in Denver when it’s the middle of May and still snowing. Sure, we may gripe and groan a little at first, then we come to our senses and realize it’s not going to change the forecast one iota.
And that’s when we choose whether we’re going to complain about something we can’t do a thing about or shrug our shoulders and repeat the same catch phrase we use every year around this time to inform newcomers and remind ourselves that “it’s springtime in the Rockies.”
And it’ll all be worth it in June and July…we promise!
