Stories of Our First Beneficiaries

Elea’s Story

Elea, is a widow and mother of four children who has already fought battles most people will never face.

As an immigrant and survivor of violence, she has had to rebuild her life in a new country from the ground up—while carrying the responsibility of protecting and providing for her children  (including an 11 yr old handicap child). Every day is a balancing act between making ends meet and ensuring her children have access to education, safety, and hope.

But Elea  is not just surviving—she is determined to rise.

She dreams of starting a small home-based business that would allow her to generate income while staying present for her struggling children. For Elea, this is more than a micro business for survival—it is a way to break the cycle of instability and create a future where her children can grow without fear.

She has already done the hard part: she has endured, she has healed, and she is part of the TRANSFORMA foundation program we are supporting today.

Now she is waiting for one opportunity to begin.
